Let’s get you off the constant content hamster wheel and started with content remixing
Here’s how we can work on creating a more minimalist content marketing strategy for your business.
You're no content marketing newbie.
In fact, your company's been creating content for a hot minute.
But now, that's EXACTLY your problem.
Because you upped the speed on that content treadmill of yours too fast, and now you can't keep up with the cardio.
You and your team are overwhelmed and burnt out trying to keep up with new content creation, PLUS promote and maintain all the content you’ve already created months and years ago.
You know it’s still good - or could be...You know you could update, optimize, and repurpose things.
But it keeps falling through the cracks since you’re so busy pumping out more content.
Every week - new blog posts, new videos, new emails, new social posts. And every time you go to plan a launch or campaign, you end up with a huge list of EVEN MORE stuff to create, even though you have so much already.
Meanwhile, all the content you’ve created in the past is just sitting in your archives going stale, earning less traffic and fewer conversions each month.
With your to-do list as a marketer constantly getting longer, it's no wonder you’re burnt out.
Let’s shorten that to-do list with some content remixing so you can hop off the content treadmill, find a more enjoyable workout, and start getting more success from less content.
About the Content Remixing Process
Content remixing is my method of minimalist content marketing that focuses on three rules:
1. Focus on using content, not just creating it.
2. Create just as much as you need, then step back and let it work.
3. Always look for ways to remix and remaster your greatest hits.
Generally, a full content remixing project has five steps:
- Nail down your goals and priorities to make sure your content marketing aligns with the rest of your business
- Take stock of what you’ve already got with a content audit
- Find your best content remixing opportunities
- Create a new, minimalist content marketing calendar (your new album’s tracklist)
- Rock your remixing
And with your own minimalist content marketing strategy, your content works smarter, your sales get consistent, and your burnout goes buh-bye!
Sounds good, right?
Well, there are a few ways we can work together, depending on which parts of the content remixing process you need most.
Pick your content chill pill
Order a content remix report
Discover the new opportunities hiding in your old content.
As the fastest way to work with me, with this audit you’ll receive a custom content plan for taking advantage of the greatest hits, hidden gems, and forgotten favorites in your content archives.
You’ll walk away with what’s basically a content updating & repurposing to-do list that’s perfect for you, your team, or a VA to start working through. (Want it done for you? Check out the studio time option below.)
Hold a content jam sesh
This 1-hour coaching call is perfect for marketers so overwhelmed they don’t even know what their problem is.
We’ll go through your business plan and existing content to brainstorm and prioritize ways to simplify and optimize it to work smarter for you.
Think of it like a 1-hour overwhelm eliminator where you’ll walk away with a clear set of priorities for your content marketing.

Rent a remixer (meee!) to help you repurpose your greatest hits and optimize your one-hit wonders.
When you know what you need, this lets you hand it over to a content marketer with over a decade of experience.
Brittany is the content marketing OG.
When I started my career in content a few years
ago, she was the one I learned so much from. It's no surprise we now nerd out about content every chance we get!
As a writer, I often get overwhelmed, both on strategic and creative side, which is why I took Brittany's Confident Content workshop. I loved it
and have improved so much with it.
I still go back to it and the workbook whenever I need a boost in my client writing workflow!
SaaS Content Writer
Why remix with me?
Before going out on my own, I spent 7 years running content marketing, PR, and social media for tech startups, including a hypergrowth SaaS.
And you know something about startups? They don't have a lot of time or money for content marketing.
The work was usually all on me, and as a chronically ill human who needs her rest, I needed an approach to content marketing that got great results without taking all my time and energy.
Something that took advantage of the smartest shortcuts, the ones that *didn’t* cut quality.
And most importantly, an approach that took advantage of all the work I’d ALREADY done...the hundreds of pieces of content I (and other marketers at the company) had already created.
Pretty quickly, I learned how to get strategically lazy. And that combination of traits, when used for good and not evil, leads to ridiculous creativity and productivity.
So I figured out a way, and my 5-phase system for minimalist content marketing was born.
My services each focus on different parts of that process, so we can focus on where you’re at.
I decided to really focus on community at the beginning of 2018. That involved showing up consistently and hiring help where I was struggling. Brittany has contributed a ton of amazing articles and helped promote them.
We also use this content for a weekly newsletter as well as conversation starters in our Facebook group.
In 2018, our subscriptions more than doubled! Having Brittany on our team has been such a positive experience.
I'm not a mindreader, but I know what you might be wondering...
Content remixing is most needed when you have a lot of content created already, but that doesn’t mean it’s not helpful when you’re starting out.
By creating a minimalist content marketing strategy from the get-go, you can avoid the constant content overwhelm that burns out so many marketers like us.
The best option for newbies like you will be a content jam sesh for us to create a remix strategy for your business together.
Oh friend, I know how stressful it is to have 50 overdue tasks in your project management tool. And things like updating, optimizing, and repurposing always seem to be the ones that get pushed back.
This is exactly why I created a “rent a remixer” service. If you know what you need done, you can book my time and pass your to-do list off to me.
Depends on what you need. I can do remix reports almost anytime, so that’s the quickest way to get on my calendar.
If you want to talk strategy with me one-on-one, that’s a different story. Contact me about a jam sesh or studio time to see my availability for those.
That’s not a question, but I’ll allow it.
If my 1:1 services are out of your budget, check out my training & template shop to find more ways to get help.
I used to think that content marketing was all about pushing out as much content as possible. Weekly blog posts sounded great on paper, but it was soooo draining to implement.
Brittany helped me see the light and realise that content should be about quality - not quantity.
I LOVE her minimalist content marketing movement, and this workshop walks you through how to make your content marketing work harder for you and your goals, but without YOU working harder for your content.
